Information we collect
VivaPantry may collect and process information you provide or generate while using the app, including:
- Account information, such as email address and authentication details.
- Household preferences, dietary notes, regional settings, cooking goals, and meal planning preferences.
- Pantry items, products, quantities, grocery lists, recipes, recipe ingredients, and recipe instructions.
- Receipts, receipt images, extracted receipt items, price history, and related shopping records.
- Usage logs, diagnostics, app analytics, error logs, and AI request metadata used to operate and improve the service.
How we use information
We use app data to provide core features: pantry tracking, receipt scanning, grocery lists, recipe organization, AI meal planning, support, security, debugging, and service improvement.
Service providers
VivaPantry uses Supabase for backend services such as authentication, database, storage, and serverless functions. We may use the OpenAI API to process AI meal planning or extraction requests. We may also use app analytics and error logging tools to understand reliability and diagnose problems.
AI processing
When you use AI-powered features, relevant pantry, recipe, preference, receipt, or planning context may be sent to AI providers to generate results. We aim to send only the information needed for the requested feature.
Data retention and deletion
We keep information as needed to provide the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve issues, and maintain security. You can request account and data deletion by contacting us. Deletion may include account data, pantry items, recipes, grocery lists, receipts, preferences, and related app data.
